According to the Prime Minister’s Office statement, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will be visiting Indian states, Odisha and Jharkhand today for the inauguration of multiple development programs
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Jharkhand and Odisha today according to the Prime Minister’s Office statement released on Friday. The Prime Minister’s visit is scheduled for the inauguration of multiple development projects in the two Indian states.
The Prime Minister will first visit Jharkhand, where he will lay the foundation for reviving the North Koel project, commonly called the Mandal Dam project. Once functional, the reservoir will facilitate irrigation for over one lakh hectare of land in Jharkhand. The Project was previously abandoned.
The PM will also install the foundation for Kanhar stone pipeline irrigation system in Jharkhand. Further, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the PM will inaugurate the collective ‘e-griha pravesh’ of 25,000 beneficiaries, both via video conferencing and public address.
This will be followed by the Prime Minister’s visit to Odisha. The PMO statement released on Friday averred that PM Narendra Modi will “reach Baripada, Odisha, where he will dedicate to the nation the Balasore-Haldia-Durgapur section of LPG pipeline project of IOCL and the Balasore multi-modal logistic park.”
The Prime Minister will address the public in Baripada after flagging off the second Tatanagar-Badampahar passenger train.
Efforts for the development and conservation of cultural heritage site, Rasika Ray temple, an ancient fort in Haripurgarh, will also be initiated by the Indian PM in Odisha on Saturday. Apart from this, the PM will inaugurate six passport seva kendras and national highways inarBadampaharTrain the state.
