India’s Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu began his three-day visit to France starting today. He will be attending the Paris Peace Forum to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice of World War I. French President Emmanuel Macron will preside over the ceremony, which will witness participation from Heads of State and Heads of Government of 50 countries. As part of the forum, the Vice President will share his views at a highlevel panel discussion titled “Dialogue of the Continents on Global Governance”. He will address the Indian community on November 9 and inaugurate the Indian War Memorial the following day at Villers Guislain . On the sidelines of the forum, the Vice President will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with foreign dignitaries.
