India has set forth to evacuate its nationals from Hubei in China who will be quarantined for Coronavirus.
With the outbreak of Coronavirus in China, India has set forth preparations to bring back its citizens affected by the situation. India’s Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed reports of evacuation from the Hubei province of China.
According to the MEA, India’s embassy in Beijing has been in contact with the Chinese authorities for evacuation plans. The Indian nationals returning from China will be quarantined and kept under two-week observation.
The outbreak of Coronavirus has spread from Wuhan in China to its neighbouring cities, claiming over 100 lives and 4500 cases reported. The WHO has raised warnings for the virus’ global outbreak as China has closed off its mainly affected cities.
Hong Kong has sealed off its borders with China after cases of Coronavirus reported in its mainland. The US also has announced level 3 warning “against all nonessential travel to China”.
