The trends for the Jharkhand assembly elections hint towards a possible victory for the JMM-Congress Alliance. The state went to elections in November 2019. The incumbent chief Minister Raghubar Das was the first Chief Minister to have completed the full five years of office.
As per the latest trends the Congress-JMM alliance is ahead on 44 seats while the ruling party BJP heads on 29 seats. Hemant Soren is the Chief Minister candidate of the Alliance said Congress Jharkhand in-charge RNP Singh.
Even as his party continues to trail behind in the trends Raghubar Das was of the view that trends are not the final results and the BJP will form government in the state.
The Congress poll coordinator in Jharkhand, Ajay Sharma said that the results of the assembly elections are people’s answer to “arrogance and diversionary tactics”. Congress spokesperson Pranav Jha said, “people have voted for change”.
