India responds sternly on Pakistan’s attempt to drag Kashmir issue again in the UN.

India has called out Pakistan on mucking up the Kashmir issue with “false narratives”. Representing India to the UN Ambassador, its Deputy K Nagaraj Naidu likened Pakistan’s obsession of raking up Kashmir on the global platform to “fish taking to the water” and spewing “venom and lies”.

India alleged the delegation of its neighbour Pakistan and its failed attempt in repeatedly spreading hate speech about Kashmir as an attempt to “obfuscate” the truth from the world.

At the UNSC meet last week, the majority of the attending countries had opined the Kashmir issue as a matter of bilateral dispute between India and Pakistan. Both China and Pakistan have little ground to speak of human rights issue in the international platform.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan also raised the Kashmir issue in the Davos Conference 2020 of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland. But, the US stance on Kashmir is for both the nations to plan negotiations and peace through dialogue. India has strongly remarked that Kashmir is its internal matter under its constitutional space and New Delhi does not enjoy giving space to any foreign intervention on the issue.
