The 10th edition of the Arab Aviation Summit will be hosted in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, from March 14–16, 2023, in the presence of leading regional players in the aviation and travel industries from both the public and private sectors. The theme for this summit is “Impactful Sustainability in Modern-Day Travel and Tourism.” The summit is an industry initiative that improves the state of Arab aviation by providing constructive dialogue. The summit takes place in multiple cities and becomes a catalyst for destination awareness of the host city by highlighting its travel and tourism experiences.
The importance of decarbonising aviation and travel will be the focus of the region’s leading aviation industry, which will be discussed during the summit, which will bring together more than 600 aviation experts across multiple sectors. The summit will feature discussions, keynote speeches, various workshops, and exhibitions that will exhibit knowledge and expertise and explore trends and opportunities for the growth and development of the Arab aviation and tourism industries.
The event is hosted in collaboration by the Tourism Development Authority of Ras Al Khaimah and will analyse the importance of impactful sustainability and disruptive technologies, which are bringing about a change in the travel industry. Management companies and tourism boards will offer valuable perspectives on how to practice sustainability models in travel and tourism.
There will also be a series of networking events that open doors for discussions on opportunities and challenges in the sector. The Arab governments endorsed the business development ideas and events that are attended by noted leaders in innovation, travel influencers, and other industry stakeholders.
This is the third consecutive year that the UAE is organising the summit, which positions it to become the regional leader in sustainable tourism by 2025. The summit will highlight the importance of interdependence between the entire tourism ecosystem, where aviation will play a vital role that will deliver a sustainable future for the industry.
The Arab Aviation Summit is the world’s first aviation and tourism event to calculate carbon emissions and align with its purpose and missions to rethink solutions for future challenges. It will provide an ideal platform that showcases the insights and practises needed to make tangible commitments to a sustainable transformation. The summit is supported by global partners such as Airbus, CFM, Aerospace, Collins, and T3 Aviation Academy, which provides the participants with a high-profile regional and international conference across tourism, aviation, airports, and more.
