Bharat Tex 2025

Bharat Tex 2025, is a global textile event that is taking place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 14-17 February, 2025. The event being Indian textile industry’s largest and most comprehensive one, is organised by the twelve Indian Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The event is themed at Resilient Global Value Chains and Textile Sustainability and is spread across two venues, exhibiting the holistic nature of the Indian textile industry.

The main exhibition is taking place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, whereas the second venue is the India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The event at the second venue began on 12th February, 2025 and will last till 15th February, 2025. The second venue covers a range of products inclusive of apparel, textile machinery, chemicals, and dyes. The event was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Textiles Mr. Giriraj Singh on 12th February, 2025. In his inaugural address at the event, he said “Exhibitions ranging from garment technology and sustainable dyes to handicrafts and sourcing, at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida points to the importance of these segments in textile value chain. This is a unique initiative that unites industry leaders, manufacturers, and artisans to showcase their excellence, and will drive future-ready solutions, sustainability, and trade opportunities on an unprecedented scale”. At the Greater Noida venue, four co-located events, each playing a significant role in the global textile supply chain are showcased under the head of Bharat Tex 2025. These are; Garment Technology Expo (GTE) 2025, DyeChem World Bharat Tex 2025, Indian Handicrafts Pavilion, and India Sourcing Conclave.

Whereas at Bharat Mandapam, the entire textile chain is on display, on a space of 2.2. million sq. feet and is expected to gather policymakers and global CEOs, over 5000 Exhibitors, around 6000 international buyers from over 120 countries, and over 25 Leading Global textile bodies and associations from across the world including International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), EURATEX, Textile Exchange, and US Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) among others. The event is also expected to entail strategic investment discussions, product launches, and collaborations The New Delhi event presents a diverse selection of apparel, home furnishings, and textile based handicrafts. The event also features an extensive range of fabrics, yarns, fibres, and threads along with exquisite carpets, silk and floor coverings. Mr. Giriraj Singh marked his presence at the Bharat Tex 2025 during the opening day of the event.

Bharat Tex 2025 is all set to accelerate high-value trade discussions and partnerships, witness over 70 conference sessions, featuring top international speakers, industry veterans, and policymakers, who are present to discuss key topics including global trade shifts, technical textiles, AI-driven manufacturing, and the future of sustainable fashion.  Additionally, the event also includes; Special Innovation and Start up Pavilions, hackathons based Start-up Pitch Fest and innovation fests, Tech tanks and design challenges providing funding opportunities for start-ups through leading investors. The exhibition is a blend of India’s historical textile expertise and contemporary trends.  The fashion shows, trend forecasts, and product launches will provide a glimpse into the future of textiles, while traditional displays and cultural performances will celebrate the enduring legacy of Indian craftsmanship. Also, this year’s event enforces India’s 5F vision – Farm to Fibre, Fabric, Fashion, and Foreign Markets, placing the country as a reliable and sustainable destination for global textile companies.

On the 16th February, 2025, the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address the Bharat Tex 2025 gathering at Bharat Mandapam.
