During the visit of Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, to Malawi, Extradition Treaty & MoU in the field of Atomic Energy for Peaceful Purposes was signed. Announcements were made to extend LoC for large water projects, construction of MGICC, gifting of Bhabhatron & others.
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu met with the President of Malawi Arthur Peter Mutharika along with the delegation. India reaffirmed commitment to strengthen cooperation in capacity building, training, health, agriculture, energy & mineral resources. M Venkaiah Naidu also addressed the India-Malawi Business Meet. Together with the Minister of Trade & Industry of Malawi, Henry Mussa, he unveiled plaques for India-Africa Institute of Agriculture & Rural Development and Business Incubation Centre
