SATTE i.e. South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange 2025 is taking place at Yashobhoomi, the International Convention and Travel Expo Centre New Delhi from 19-21 February, 2025. SATTE is in its 32nd Edition this year, and it features a series of exclusive events and partnerships, making it the must-attend travel expo for industry leaders worldwide.
The tourism fair conducted by SATTE offers a comprehensive platform to domestic and international buyers and professionals from the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry in addition to National and State Tourism Boards (NTOs and STOs). It is recognised as Asia’s leading travel and tourism exhibition for conducting businesses, sharing knowledge, and exchanging ideas in order to arrive at solution-driven innovations while at the same time also accelerating the pace of growth within the travel industry. SATTE is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, National and International Tourism Boards, Indian and International travel and trade associations and organizations among others. SATTE 2025 has opened to about 2000+ exhibitors and 40000+ visitors and has witnessed the participation from around 50 countries and 28 state tourism boards who have joined the event to shape the future of travel and tourism, furthering collaboration in these very domains. The event is taking place under the theme Tourism 2025: Fostering Global Collaboration for Mutual Growth.
The Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony said “the growing infrastructure in India, including the construction of state-of-the-art complexes, indicate that the country is standing at the threshold of strong possibilities in the tourism sector. Among the new segments of tourism getting developed in India, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) tourism would be the most important. Travel and tourism opens doors of opportunities for this vibrant sector. This event holds its significance in South Asia when one looks for new perspectives in the tourism sector and aims to grow business cooperation”.
Additionally, the inaugural ceremony of this major travel and tourism expo also witnessed dignitaries such as the Vice Minister in the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, Mr. Jakkaphon Tangsutthitham and Director General of the Ministry of Tourism, Ms. Mugdha Sinha among others.
This year’s highlights include the Leadership Summit, an exclusive Golf Tournament, and Atithi, in association with SEPC (Services Export Promotion Council), which brings 250+ international buyers to the event, providing unique opportunities for global business connections. In addition to its extensive exhibitor list, SATTE 2025 aims to introduce a range of new initiatives designed to enhance participant engagement in South Asian travel.
All in all, SATTE 2025 is extending its reach to 4027 cities across India, including both tier one and tier two, ensuring an unmatched national presence and offering a truly expansive platform for the travel industry’s growth and making its presence known in the South Asian travel realm.
