At Aero India 2023, India and Israel to Boost their Defence Ties on Aerial Frontiers

India will be holding the 14th edition of Aero India 2023, a biennial air show and aviation exhibition. The airshow is scheduled to begin on February 13 and continue until February 17. Several MoUs are expected to be signed to boost the prowess of India on the aerial frontier during the duration of Aero India 2023. Amid the aviation exhibition, a series of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) is set to be signed between Israel Aerospace Industries and Defence contractors in India.
A number of drones, a mini communications satellite, a supersonic long-range air-ground assault rocket, and an electronic warfare system designed to detect and disrupt airborne and ground-based threats, among other items, are all set to be displayed by the Israel Aerospace Industries. Israel’s annual defence exports to India are estimated to be between $1.5 billion and $2 billion. Moreover, the Indian Armed Forces are provided with radars, satellites, unnamed aerial systems, training platforms, and missile defence systems.
Enrichment in India-Israel Defence Ties
A platform for leading figures is provided by Aero India 2023 in the global aviation industry to collaborate with defence, business, and government sectors and strike deals. The exhibition enables deals in defence and exploration of areas of cooperation among businesses that display their products at pavilions. The IAI has been engaged with the authorities of India in the production and development of military technologies for use on land, air, and water.
For the time being, India and Israel have established a strong relationship in the defence sector in recent years. This relationship is characterized by increased cooperation and collaboration. Both nations share a common interest in ameliorating their military capabilities and addressing regional security challenges.
