According to the latest development in the Indian Space Research Organization, India is heading towards the successful Moon mission by 2021. This would be India’s third mission to Moon as it readies itself to launch Chandrayaan 3 by next year.

It has also been confirmed that the preparations for this lunar mission will not compromise other space and satellite programs scheduled in between. The ISRO has programmed around 25 space missions in the 2020 calendar year.

The upcoming spacecraft will be taking on the same configuration, route and landing as its predecessor Chandrayaan 2. It has been estimated that the expenses for the mission will be around Rs 600 crores.

K Sivan also shed some light on the developments of the Gangayaan mission which will be the orbital space journey of Indian crews, planned for 2022. While ISRO is on a tight schedule this year, it is undoubtedly gearing ahead for an optimistic outcome.
